In 2003 David Barlow and his daughter Sarah purchased the long established Saddleworth funeral directors Pogson and Armitage Ltd as the previous owner was retiring.

The  premises have been completely refurbished and what was previously a joiner’s workshop over two floors upstairs has been converted to a home for Sarah, her husband  and young  family.

The funeral directors now has private chapels of rest which can be used for informal services. There is a private car park.
